Entity Bean Implementation
  • We'll look at the implementation of just one entity bean: Bid
    • Probably the most interesting because of the various finder methods
  • Implementor's responsibility:
    • Business methods - defined in the remote interface
    • DB synchronization - ejbLoad() and ejbStore()
    • Bean creation - ejbCreate() and ejbPostCreate() (derived from the home interface)
    • Bean destruction - ejbRemove()
    • Bean finders - ejbFindByPrimaryKey(), etc. (derived from the home interface)
