Ingredients

Water (110 °F)
tsp Instant Yeast
1 tsp Honey

Egg white
 3  C Gluten free flour (e.g. Caputo Flour)
tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine water, yeast, and honey. Whisk briefly.
  2. Allow to rest for 10 minutes (should become foamy)
  3. Whisk in egg white
  4. Whisk in flour/salt (it will have the consistency of a thick batter)
  5. Allow dough to rise for 2 hours
  6. At the 1½ hour mark, turn the oven to 450 °F and put the dutch oven in it (empty, with lid)
  7. When the oven reaches 450 °F, gently scrape the dough onto a piece of parchment paper
  8. Take the dutch oven out, lower the parchment (holding the dough) into it
  9. Put the lid on, and bake for 30 minutes
  10. After 30 minutes, remove the lid, brush the dough with margarine and grind on some salt
  11. Cook, uncovered, for another 15 minutes.
